The most wonderful time of any year has finally arrived. All the other months can boast of sunny warm beaches, or dancing swirling crimson leaves and even the divine whisper of falling night snows but nothing can compare with tiny verdant shouts of green bursting through umber wet soil or windy rainy afternoons and bobbing petalled heads of golden butter yellow that trumpet the little robin's arrival back home. How I wish to be home!Tuesday, March 22, 2011

ANOTHER FAN

Being a grandmother is the thrill I never thought it would be but I must tell you I cant believe it has been a whole year since this little darling came into out lives. Being a grandmother is great but absolutely nothing can compare with being Emily's mother.
N O T H I N G.
I want the world to know how wonderful of a mother she is
Her love and devotion to being nothing but the best she can be for Chloe is worth a lifetime of waiting for.

3 MONTHS LATER

IT HAS BEEN THE HOTTEST SUMMER I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN LOOOOOONG TIME
AND I AM SICK OF IT.
Seriously it is really getting old and i am looking forward to the cool nights and sunny days of autumn and of course FOOOTBALLLLLLL!!!!!
As you will know my Donovan is now a Redskin so this years season will be interesting.
Chloe and i are becoming great playmates. i have tended her all summer 3 days a week. She is sooo beautiful. Emily and Josh are doing really well. They are great parents.
My life is not too different and as usual pretty useless but days go by and nights are atleast cooler.
So lets wait for fall..... who knows what will fall out.

My First grandchild Chloe
She was born April 9,2010 at 6:12a.m. She weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces and was twenty inches long.
And as you can see she is allllll most as beautiful as her mother.
Emily did a magnificent job of natural child birth her strength and focus was amazing. She gave her daughter the greatest gift of life today by allowing her to come to this earth with only their wills and strengths.
I admire her deeply and love Chloe
Josh, her father did a perfect job of coaching and supporting his little family.
WELL DONE BOTH OF YOU. TRULY YOU WERE BOTH GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANTS THIS DAY.

My REAL Chirstmas

I just want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas. This day has always been so very special to me for many reasons. My family has always been so wonderful. I was born Christmas morning. My mother always made it a priority to make Christmas Eve my own little party day. All my favorite dinners, birthday cakes, family games, candy and gifts. Then awakening to Santa's surprise the next morning never to be left out or shorted in any way. After a breakfast exploding with events family opened Christmas gifts and I always was given the same extravagant amount as my brother and sisters. But its really more than this for me. I have always been musical and so was my family. Carols were always sung and performed. Tooele seemed to have an abundance of snow each year. Little memories like Bye Christensen stopping by all dressed as Santa complete with sleigh and "his own reindeer", which were just his little donkeys pulling along the drifted city streets. Lights, trees, friends, choirs, fudge, toffee, and my place by the furnace while it blew out pine scented warmth all remain just mine. Or so it seemed....... At any rate have a lovely holiday, hold your dear ones close and always remember that Santa is really waiting for us to just Believe.
